Lost in Tours-lation
Hi Everyone,
I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged. I guess this means…I’ve finally somewhat adjusted to French lifestyle :)
Teaching is going well….everyday is a unique adventure. I would give y’all more specifics and tell some funny stories, but some of my students are my friends on facebook!
I know right? why did I accept? Well I accepted one or two requests, then I realized if I do that, then I gotta accept the other ones too! ahhh…my B.
I promise I will have many stories to tell in person— way funnier anyways.
I spend a lot of my free time running around the city…and to other nearby cities. Last Sunday a friend and I ran all the way to Vouvray ( yup known for that good wine= vouvray wine) and back.. about 22km. The countryside here is beautiful. Running along the Loire River is definitely something I will miss when I leave this place.
I use my running as an escape from reality and time to really relax, meditate, and ponder about what I want to do with my life.
OK, FOOOD:
Yesterday I cooked some canard (duck) it was so yummy. I cooked the filet of duck with a vegetable medley (onions, bell peppers, zucchini, clementine peels), topped it off with a honey clementine sauce. It was so nectar ;)
Also, I started watching New Girl series and it is Hilarious.
Life is good. I can’t believe my French life will be over in 3 months. It’s been good France, but this experience has really made me appreciate my friends, family, and Louisiana so much more.

There is a limit to the amount of misery and disarray you will put up with, for love, just as there is a limit to the amount of mess you can stand around a house. You can’t know the limit beforehand, but you will know when you’ve reached it. I believe this.
